"Without the playing with fantasy, no creative work has ever yet come to birth. The debt we owe to the play of imagination is incalculable." - Carl Jung
The interior of a Microkiln has a black compound lining inside the wall of te cover. The black material absorbs the microwave radiation and heats up to approximately 1650 F (900 C), thereby heating the chamber to this temperature very quickly.

You can fuse glass jewelry pendants, earrings, and pins in it withn minutes. You can fire precious metal clays and decorate ceramics, too.

How to use:
1)Place a piece of kiln fiber paper on top of the base of the kiln to stop sticking.

2)Place glass, ceramic or metal piece which has been decorated with Multipens onto the fiber paper.

3)Place the microkiln base in the microwave, then place the microkiln cover on the base.

4)Switch on the microwave for the required period (see table in operating instructions). Put on gloves or oven mitts as the kiln will now be hot.

5)Place the kiln on a heat resistant surface.

6)After cooling for approximately 20 minutes remove the piece from the kiln. Cooling duration may vary. Please wear gloves when initially handling the piece for safety.

WARNING The inside of the kiln gets up to 1650 deg. F (900 deg. C) when firing. Although the kiln is very well insulated, the outside still gets hot so use care and gloves to remove it from the microwave. Place the hot kiln on a heat resistant surface.
